  • #Alan Kolby - guitar and vocals

    Alan began playing guitar professionally at age 14, performing at dances, rock and roll package shows, and clubs. With the exception of three years in the Army, his entire working career has been as a band leader. Alan worked in Nashville and Los Angeles over a 13 year period where he was a band leader, and or arranger, for Tanya Tucker, Barbi Benton, Jim Stafford, and countless record and jingle sessions, covering every popular music style. Along with Nightfire and his other live performance work, he plays guitar on record and jingle sessions for clients such as Haley Scarnato, Johnny Bush, Time Warner, Church’s Fried Chicken, Toyota, etc., including all the guitar and bass work on the San Antonio Convention and Visitors Bureau commercial.
  • #Mark Malone - drums and vocals

    Mark grew up playing drums, beginning in a jazz band with his saxophonist father when he was 11 years old. He has since played and toured with several rock and roll and country artists. Aside from being a great drummer and singer, Mark has a Masters degree in physical therapy, and owns and operates Spectrum Physical Therapy Clinic in Boerne, Tx.

    Mike Byrne - keyboards and vocals

    As the keyboardist for Nightfire, Mike Byrne brings a wealth of music experience in various styles and genres. Throughout his music career he has worked as both a drummer and keyboard player for many groups and artists. He was a sideman for Nashville RCA recording artist John Wesley Riles, and toured the U.S. and Europe with legendary Texas blues guitarist and songsmith Marc Benno. Not limited to performing on stage Mike works as a music composer/arranger/producer. In the world of advertising, he has created soundtracks and scores for numerous award winning radio, TV and film projects, including being a three time nominee for best original score in the national 'CLIO' awards.

    Jennifer Felan - vocals, guitar, and percussion

    Jennifer has been singing with Nightfire since 2005. She is a natural music talent, and plays acoustic and electric guitar, percussion, piano and bass guitar. As with all the musicians in Nightfire, Jennifer grew up listening, playing, and singing all genres of music - Motown, jazz, big band, disco, country, latin, and classic rock. Some of her musical influences include Selena, Aretha Franklin, Linda Ronstadt, Donna Summer, and Christina Aguilera. She also does recording session work singing lead and background vocals, and was the featured vocalist on the Tejano songs,"Samba De Fiesta" and "Here's Looking At You".

    Robert Bigler - guitar and percussion

    Robert is a San Antonio native who has spent the majority of his life in search of a good time. Always a high achiever and fast learner, he was a child by the age of five. Deciding to pass on a career in politics, he chose the next best path of least resistance and became a guitar player. After paying his musical dues in such highly suspect bands as "Soul Provider" and "Counterpoint", Robert was recruited to join Nightfire because of his musical expertise, his strong work ethic, and his big car. He currently provides acoustic and electric guitar, vocals, and percussion to the "Nightfire" sound.

    Paul Wilson - bass and vocals

    Originally from Dallas, Paul has called San Marcos, Texas, his home for over twenty years. A multi-instrumentalist, he began playing guitar and piano in his early teens, and picked up bass in his late teens. An accomplished singer-songwriter, he is currently working with producer John Inmon on a CD entitled "Highway 21" which will feature guest performances by vocalist Jules Alexander (The Association), fiddler Gene Elders (George Strait), and keyboardist Mike Byrne from Nightfire. Nightfire's bassist also has a day gig: he has been a philosophy professor at Texas State University - San Marcos for over 10 years.
  • #Robert Gamez - saxaphone

    Robert has been playing professionally since the age of 15, working with the Latin Affections, Los Jovenes, Roger Valasquez and the Latin Legends, and Grammy award winner Bob Gallarza. Robert attended St. Mary's University, and while there, performed with artists including Bobby Shew, Don Menza, Kevin Mahogany, and Bob Moises. He has an excellent feel for all styles of music and has played with the Al Sturchio big band, Top Class, Road Trip, and the Brent Vansickel Orchestra.

    Don is originally from Houston, but spent several years in Nashville working as a trombonist, arranger and band leader, with Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass, the Nashville Contemporary Pops Orchestra, Truth, The Spurlows, and as a music contractor with Ross Productions, as well as with his own big band. He has appeared professionally with such artists as Burt Bacharach, Natalie Cole, Bob Hope, The Four Seasons, Frank Mantooth, Bob Mintzer, Jim McNeely, Rob McConnel, Al Vizzutti, Lori White, Andy Williams, and Toni Tennille.

  • #Jerrold Feigenbaum - trumpet

    Jerrold started his trumpet career in New York at the age of 8 under the direction of New York recording artist Mike Ficco. At an early age, he was introduced to jazz and was greatly influenced by his mother, who was a concert pianist, and his older brother who played bass trombone. Jerrold attended the University of North Texas Music School and studied with the famous trumpet virtuoso Don “Jake” Jacoby. After leaving North Texas, he played professionally for 12 years with “Calvalcade of Stars” show band out of Dallas Texas, recently played at the 43rd Montreux Jazz festival, and had the privilege to jam with Earth Wind & Fire in Montreux Switzerland. As with other members of Nightfire, Jerrold is well versed in all forms of popular music, and does recording session work along with live engagements.
